The project in brief
Within ADB’s concessional loan to Gobi JSC for sustainable cashmere procurement and production, the Pasture Solutions technical assistance project strengthens the resilience of Mongolia’s pastoral livestock sector to extreme climate conditions. Together with herder groups in Bayankhongor and Khuvsgul aimags, it pilot-tests sustainable pasture-management solutions and delivers training in financial literacy, pasture management and ecology — prioritising the participation of women and young herders.
